object shadows

will it be possible at some point to disable object shadows. This would be also good for lights(not occluding other lights)
so that, for example i can disable shadows from curtain to speedup rendering or place light in windows but also have sunlight coming through. Also visibility in reflections for object and lights is something I've used a lot with corona and cycles.
on top of this, I think I mentioned this in another thread, but selecive lighting is a very powerful tool in corona, having a light only affecting a selected group of objects.
