Big window shadow
Guys, I have a room with a big window, and the shadows don´t look like realistic. Near the chair legs, the shadows should be more sharp, but shadows are too much soft. The light comes from a HDR. There is some setup specific for this?

Hard to say anything without a blend file. check your floor normals.

Looking into it.
Re: Big window shadow
Ok it is just a bad HDri issue Too flat to deliver sharp shadows.
Take one from hdrihaven.

It works with direct light (from sun light or HDR), but I´d like a diffuse light (ambient), without sun light entering directly in the room.

Look the example in the attached image. It´s the effect I want to achieve.
Re: Big window shadow
So just use an HDRi with the same light/shadow profil OR a sun with appropriate size for full control.Leandro Oliveira wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 2:57 pm Look the example in the attached image. It´s the effect I want to achieve.
