Inconsistent result with camera clipping

Post by xlxs »

1) Change to rendering view.
2) Different result occurs by turning clipping on/off.

There is similar inconsistency in the results with blender 2.83.1 and luxcore 2.4beta1 with camera clipping on/off. Does anyone else have the same problem on this one or it only happens at my pc?

Also with clipping on and reducing clip start also produces weird result.... It tends to look like the image with clipping disabled.
Is there anything I can try to help debug? Maybe I'm missing some something and that is the reason for the weird result? Does this has to do anything with light rays being parallel to the camera and thus being invisible? I don't know what is happening

This is still relevant with luxcore 2.4 stable...
