random tiling / stochastic texturing

I already made a "request" on github about this, here's more info:
So apparently it is possible to make tileable textures way more usable using this method:

or something similar... It's currently present in fstorm:

and it's already been requested for corona too since it is endlessly useful for tileable textures if you need them on large areas so that the tiling never gets visible.
Maybe a good idea for 2.3 if not sooner??
