How to make HDRIs not look like artifacted nightmares?

Post by happysmash27 »

In Luxcore, there are all kinds of transitions with lines in HDRIs when everything should transmission smoothly:

Everything also seems way to bright, especially when comparing with Cycles:

I have tried changing the gamma all over the place, but nothing seems to make it better, and it often makes it even worse. Any suggestions?

For reference, I am using HDRIs from https://www.reddit.com/r/blender/commen ... ce_hdrs_1/.

...Camera settings. I just realised, maybe that is why this isn't working, right after giving up and asking the question...
