Re: weird volumetric lighting glitch
spot works sun but sun is broken still
Re: weird volumetric lighting glitch
A general comment about the scene: your volume setup is incorrect, this makes camera volume auto-detection fail.
You can either:
- set the correct exterior volume on all materials
or
- disable volume auto-detection in the camera settings and manually set the exterior camera volume
(the latter is simpler)
About the weird stripe: I can reproduce it even with just the volume cube and the sun. Maybe it's a bug, or maybe some other problem in the scene that I couldn't find.

Camera volume always fail. At least in luxcore 2.1 and earlier.

Re: weird volumetric lighting glitch
Do you mean the auto-detection? A bug in that code was fixed a while ago, probably after v2.1.
Re: weird volumetric lighting glitch
I mean any camera volume setting beside "---" will not work.
You've fixed something before 2.1 and after that camera volume still should be set to "---" for volumes to work at all. It was a while since I've checked though. I'll check latest release a little later.
UPD: 2.2 beta1 still doesn't work for me

Only BiDir leads to a denoisable results. openCL path renders patterns which cannot be denoised currently. Please have a look at the next pictures.
