Arne Jacobsen Visor floor lamp

Post by stefdln »

Hey guys
I made this render earlier this day just for fun an to try out some random stuff. Everything is made from scratch.
The setup here is really simple, nothing really fancy actually but for some reasons for product viz I kind of like it this way.
Render time around 30 min with denoising with OpenCL Path Tracing. Could have stopped the whole process around 15 minutes though.
I had some trouble with fireflies around the lightbulb as if light was passing through the lampshade which was kind of weird but anyway, denoiser took care of it in a decent way.
Overall I found working with luxcore really pleasant. I just finished using it for a project with a client and it totally fulfills my needs. I love the results and I find it fast and pretty reliable.
Once we get displacement and shadow terminator artifacts fix well, to me in a certain extent it seems there will be no reason anymore to use anything else.
Hope you guys like it.
Cheers
