By the way, how much do you edit in postpro?
During my archviz internship, we did about 60% of the look in Photoshop (you might remember the comparison I posted once).
I have the feeling you change a lot less, is that correct?
Some color correction / grading in Darktable and gimp + some background mask that is all.

Hi Sharlybg

Great work, all this nice and lovely placed details every where! I like the wooden parts and the how the bright curtains are folded.

Kind Regards.

PS: Maybe, you can make a fluffy carpet made from hairs like B.Y.O.B. showed once.

I remenber i didn't care a lot about carpet detail and it is a mistake i should just erase (remenber my san pedro bedroom).I will not forget that one. As everything get a lot of attention and details it is really obvious to see such kind of huge mistake ( poor detail) a shame for the project average level.
But this is good for the next one ( as i've a lot to improve ).

. Yes currently living in Abidjan ;)

. Like many African City there is a recent investment that give boost the architectural business in general. But for an Artist like me here in Abidjan compare to international standar income i'm a big waste. The work here isn't correctly valorised and big juicy project are on the hand of big architectural shark firm ( SAOTA , LINES & VISION , ARCHITECTURE & MILIEU ) who don't alway care or rely on good CGI they do if it is a really big project like this one (https://www.google.com/search?q=baie+de ... 0&bih=1086): .
My current best freelancing patnership is with an italian Architect from milan who manage to get some good work here. It is at a very bigining state at the moment so from my side it look like big investment more than robuste stable income.

That said i don't know how it compare to France in detail but you can tell me. ;)

That's pretty interesting as things are actually quite similar here, although I think living in big african cities these days is a good thing to a certain extent because the major part of the continent finds itself in a huge growing process, due to the investment you mentionned.
Here in France things are a little, well... said and done already.
I can't really speak about the archviz industry here as I do not know that industry very well. I mainly work with art galeries and freelance designers. But as I've been told by others, here you can make a (really) good living working as a freelance artist in archviz but to achieve this you'll have to live in Paris and be able to work on really tight deadlines. It is common to claim around 1500-2000€ per view...
As a rule of thumb nowadays achitects here hire young people fresh out of arch school who can work with Sketchup and Vray and that's it.
Personnaly and for some reason I find myslef sick and tired of working alone so I think that in the future I will team with someone. This will allow me to get bigger projects and better money ;)
