Sometimes, simple objects turn out to be very difficult to perform.

Nice work!
What where the difficult parts?

Making good reflections in metallic objects to emphasize the geometry might be hard from my experience. This is a very solid work from this point of view.

Yes, it's all right SATtva. It's all about reflections. It is difficult to show the steel of a certain brand. Show realistically without having a background.
Here is the last option (in this perspective the customer insisted)

Nice motor model!
Have you done the modelling in Blender?
Once I tried something similar, starting from an existing model and exporting the mesh from Solid Edge.
Mesh conversion to something usable by Blender was then a pain: I had to do a ton of manual corrections, and the mesh was huge, making each operation in blender terribly slow...

I normally use Topsolid for engineering CAD. But for exporting STL then I think Fusion 360 has some handy capabilities to simplify the mesh - which makes things a bit easier when they are imported into Blender.

Just a thought.

Cheers

Blender Decal machine and Hardops are your friend :

These are renderers for 300 x 300 pixels - so there are not many polygons.

I have Hard Ops, but I never learned to use it.
I'm modeling in Blender. This is a simple simulation. For example, such projects are hard for me, this I do 2 days: https://youtu.be/QxLh28FJd1k

I receive the file * .iges, I open it in FreeSCAD, export to Blender.
I put import a model on layer 1. On layer 2 I modeling the most purely. Then render.

For several years I used Rhino, but I realized that Blender could do the same, but free \ small donatas.

Interesting video, Dez!
Thanks for sharing your workflow. And thanks Racleborg and Sharlybg for your suggestions, I'll have a look at those tools.
I also tried to use FreeCAD starting from an iges model, and also Salome, but with both I ended up with similar problems...

When I have some time I'll try to work again on that model and maybe ask for some more specific suggestion.
