Another wonderfull illustration. Thanks for this fresh creative art air. lovely :D

btw look like you struggle to get rid of fireflies in glass object. Do you try the shadow color trick ?

Many thanks, much appreciated!

I've tried the shadow trick, but it turned the glass into more of an architectural glass type, without the nice contrast in the refractions.

I could have used denoising, but that smooths out too much detail to my liking.

In the end I actually like a bit of noise. It works like a slight grain, and avoids the image getting too smooth.

As far as I remember, it is the first time I see LuxCore (or even the old Lux) used for this kind of stylized/cartoon rendering style. Who said it wasn't possible ? It looks damn good :D
This a quite typical field of application for Cycles but I would say that LuxCore adds a little photorealism twist.

Thank you David, much appreciated! 👍

LuxCoreRender is a joy to work with because everything, including the lighting, behaves exactly as you would expect in the real world. A back light really casts that broad, bright rim it would cause in real life. I love that. Compared to LuxCoreRender, Cycles suddenly feels like a semi-realistic renderer, floating somewhere between Eevee and Lux.

In other words: I won't be using Cycles anymore. 🙂
