Really beautifull and complexe shape ;) . I think it deserve a bit longer render time the are part made too smooth by the denoiser(leaves area for example). As it is jewelry sharper reflection are needed.

Hi, thanks for your great comments.
That render got to 1200 samples, it is much the depth of field for the marco view making bluriness and not the denoising. The jewel is sharp, metal has roughness and bumps to make it artistically more interesting. This scene got selected in Blendernation weekly selection. I made a new version with smoke and particules rendered directly with LuxCoreRender 2.4 - I was very happy to use volumetrics and particules with Luxcore. Every particle became a light source thanks to the emision, and that gave the final composition more colors and made the scene really attractive. :D

Amazing realistic. The coloured smoke is a interesting highligt.
At the top of the Gem i would had expected a small reflection of something not just a white vertex.

Thank you for your very nice comment. Yes, at the top... You can see the last update at https://blenderartists.org/t/ring-on-a- ... es/1243187 - The top is still almost totally white but I did add a small color ramp from the left side.
