You have done a good, creative job with this work.
Rather fancy I associate the colored quartz crystals with a Star Trek (original series) set on a freshly discovered planet. Your finger ring might be an alien star ship with sensor and tactical phalanxes made from reflecting brilliants like oxides or some wide spectrum absorbing semi-metal. I know, this picture might be a little bit off frequency, but try to imagine, Captain Kirk, its number one, Mr. Spock and an med Officer Dr. Bones are just materializing on the ground in the front close to the more red partly green crystals in the color play of a beam as tiny figurines compared to the very vast alien ship in the back.
