Hi !
just want to share with you an outside render project i'd made for a client recently. BLENDER 2.8 / Luxcore Beta3. I wish i could do more on it but i've to much less time.
Hope you enjoy.

Looks great!
Re: Appartements Adrema Bingerville
Thanks to you glad that you like it.
Re: Appartements Adrema Bingerville
May I ask, did you model it all in Blender or is created in a CAD type programme such as Sketchup or Autocad?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Appartements Adrema Bingerville
The main building was done in revit and export to blender 2.8 via Fbx.
Other building directly model inside blender 2.8.

I've been contemplating reverting to CAD to create some objects in my scenes, so the fact that you do it means that this is probably a good direction to take! It's just that converting tris to quads - even with dedicated software for this - can be a bit labour intensive.

Walls and glass panel aren't hard to manage in archviz.never need to convert them in quads just have to apply a simple flat shade to all geometry.I've been contemplating reverting to CAD to create some objects in my scenes, so the fact that you do it means that this is probably a good direction to take! I don't know how more complex will react but we already have a user here doing mechanical object render.the Guy with the samouraï in avatar (Dez) viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1302

Thank you for that extra info. I'm definitely going to start creating some stuff in CAD to export to Blender.Walls and glass panel aren't hard to manage in archviz.never need to convert them in quads just have to apply a simple flat shade to all geometry.

There are cases where I should be better at modelling in CAD rather than in Blender - hopefully
