I've made a new file, imported an hero, now – there's no more hero.

Now I will tell you what causes this bug: I don't know! :? But! Now I know that it has something to do with a .blend file. Deleting everything, making new material doesn't fixes the issue, but importing same object with the same material into new file does.
The matter is that translucent material get bugged at some point. It becomes transmission color... colored. All over.
Look:

P.S. all translucent materials in a bugged file will be like this.

Can you upload this exact file that produces the output in the last picture?
That would be a great help to find the cause of the mysterious "blend file corruption".

Thanks :)
I downloaded it and will take a look when I'm done with the new hair code.

Rejoice everyone and praise the wasd! There's no such thing as evil "file corruption". I've managed to fix that purple face by enabling "Auto-Detect Camera Volume" in camera settings.

I just looked at the file.
You can also fix the issue by setting no volume for the camera.
By the way, why is the skin material configured to be a shadow catcher? It does nothing on Bidir, but it's weird anyway.

I guess it's misclick. It does nothing on Bidir anyway, so I didn't notice.

I will check my file too, maybe there is some connection to what I observed.
