I made some short comparison between Cuda an OpenCL with an indoor scene with pretty hard lightpath.
I let the secene render for 60 seconds without any caches and for 240 seconds with Indirect Light Cache.
Tested on Ryzen1700x + RTX2080ti
Cuda is quite a bit faster particularly without Indirect Light Cache.
Cuda vs OpenCL
Re: Cuda vs OpenCL
Nice test . will be great to see the final render of this project. look like opencl support is better on new NVIDIA card. the improvement from ocl to CUDA isn't to high. still in 10 to 20% .

Here comes the final image.
Rendered it without caches for 10 minutes (702spp)
Denoised with Denoising Node in the Compositor unsing Albedo/Average Shading Normal/Image

Re: Cuda vs OpenCL
thanks for the reply. in fact this render remind of the first pic/render i had seen from lux a decades ago and felt in love with this renderer.
I mean the indirect light bounce in this was so high. it bring so much realism for theses days.
SALA
So i was expecting the final render here with more light in. just tortured the Jpg in gimp and reduce the greenish effect on the wall :

I know exactly hat you mean. LuxCoreRender has such beautiful light transport. It's a joy to render difficult lit interiors.
Are you thinking of that typical high key photography style used a lot in interior magazines?
Here you go.
I just kept it dark, because i was going for a quiet mood.
By the way, there is a great camera addon for free that as well works with BlendLuxCore dealing with real values.
I uesd it to adjust the EV's for the scene.

Render this time 60 seconds with denoising paths from above
