Interior test

Post by Egert_Kanep » Tue Apr 03, 2018 10:14 pm

Simple evening doodle. The picture on the wall is by Charles Nandeya Ehouman (Sharlybg), I hope he doesn't mind. My next step is to try to recreate this scene in AMD prorender and see how that looks. Would be interesting to see how they comapre. But I am really pleased with the results I got from so little effort, once again, LuxCore has proven itself.

I noticed, that shadows look a bit weird on pillows. Is this a geometry problem? I tried with different render engine and shadows looked much softer.

Try to reduce the bump map power. It seem you encounter a terminator problem.

I'll check these. As far as I remember, I didn't use bump over 2mm.
