If i'm you i will wait for Navi and Ryzen 3 7nm. don't think this the nice time to buy hardware. GPU are expenssive and we are near to a tech leaps like when maxwell GTX 970 300$ GPU outperform my kepler 1000$ Titan Black.

If this is confirmed at only 50% it will be awesome.

And use liquid cooling (closed loop is fine) for the CPU, it is so much better :!:

I'm on hold too because the have doubled the floating point units on the next generation of Ryzen/Threadripper and it could be a significative advantage.

Oh yes.. I was about to upgrade the whole system which is long overdue 4770K and 1060 lol :D but I don't think it's worth it now... I was about to just at leas buy a 2070 or 2080 for now but somehow I wasn't that impressed, especially if currently I'm doing mostly modeling and I'm used to render on farm.

But if those rumors (or at least some of them) from the video sharly posted are true, I'm a gonna buy me some amd+amd instead of intel+nvidia this time..
