Hi Continuum !
i've a few question for your simulation engine :
1__ How does it compare to solution like realflow from next limit. Is it faster.
http://www.nextlimit.com/realflow/
2__ How does it compare to blender integrated solution like mantaflow / flip fluid addon / molecular
Flip fluids :

mantaflow :

Molecular :

3__ Is it GPU accelareted like embergen if not do you have a roadmap for that ? AI maybe in futur ?

Well, performance is similar to Realflow (CPU) but it is faster in some cases, and vice versa. The biggest difference is that Dyverso use's position based dynamics for fluids (I use it only in the granular solver), and I use an implicit SPH solver. The latest version includes SplishSplash (
https://github.com/InteractiveComputerG ... lisHSPlasH), I haven't bench marked that against Realflow yet.
Flip fluids and Manta Flow use grid based fluids (Eular simulations), and I mainly use SPH (Lagrangian simulations). So roughly the same differences between Hybrido and Dyverso in Realflow. I don't know about Molecular.
As for GPU, yes and no. GPU is only available for the Lightwave plugin at the moment. It needs to be rewritten for Deep Fx Studio, so it will be available at a later date. I don't know what the future holds, there's a long feature request list, AI is definitely one of the things people would like to see.

Happy to announce Luxcore is fully integrated at this point, and producing awesome stuff.

The latest version of Deep FX Studio has been released, and this version integrates LuxCoreRender. If you're interested, there is an unlimited timed trial.

If any ones given the trial a chance, would like some feedback. Otherwise getting some mentions around the internet. Hopefully that will attract a few more people to LuxCoreRender in what ever form.

There are a few fluids and physic artists in here, i think it is a good idea to post your work on more dedicated forums too, like gfx or perhaps society and such.
That will attract more users and beta testers.
Personally, I enjoy your work too much.
Keep up the good job.

I am running a survey for anyone interested. If you have the time, please fill it out.
