I don't know what to do with textures.
How do I convert them?
Maybe through GIMP?

I found how in GIMP you can assign an ACES color profile

I did a little test with color checker. Converted texture to acescg, imported into Blender and set gamma 1 in image node for LuxCore. In cycles I just specified input colorspace on image node(acescg in this case). Lighting was constant 0,7 in rgb.
Results look quite similar, I did also a test with Arnold, but that looked a bit too off, I might have missed a setting in Maya.
