I would like to achieve an acrylic plastic of 5 mm thickness.
This but thinner. But checking references ...made me realize its actually quite similar to the render :)
I also attached a screenshot of my model, the surface kind of pink...its the acrylic.

I have been watching more Dravia videos and also reading what you described. Now the light trace is active and looks way more realistic that all the hacks I needed to do in cycles. Thank you so much! I am at work I will try to find a brake and send it to you! Is there anyway to send it privately? Maybe I can post the scene with the acrylic and a few wood parts? Its a project I would like to build and I prefer to not have it floating freely :)

Yes I am able. I am using the vpn and now I can see the material ones...not sure why those are not working.

Do you know how should I set the preferences to be able to use Optix in my viewport ? I am really not a fan of the denoiser in 2.4
