Sorry to write again, but still hours on, am getting no where. Attached is screenshot asking for node editor which is nowhere to be found. Looked at all the manuals....the illustrations in the Luxcore are for the old Blender UI...the present Blender manual has no coherent indication what to do to pu...

Thanks! I got it to work, that is blender didn't crash and managed to find the "render engine selection" drop down....after that haven't a clue what is going on, think a render was started but Luxcorerender didn't open...can't find any instructions on how to operate this in either the luxc...

BlendLuxCore v2.3beta1 works with Blender 2.81a on OSX 13.6 on my MacBook. Blender 2.82 does apparently not yet work and OSX 14 and later would need a notarized LuxCore which is not there yet. Thanks for the reply! I don't know anything about coding, did html 15 or 20 years, but am pretty ignorant in this area. Nowadays just want to do my work, modeling art rendering etc....much harder than it used to be...the whole system is against one between unwanted options, upgrades, and privacy inv...

Maybe v1 –I mean v2.1

v2.3beta2 doesn't work. When I click the box to activate in Blender preferences, the program crashes. Maybe v1 would work with Blender 2.8, using 2.82 here now –could replace with older version? Luxcorerender hardly has an interface, don't understand (compared to Luxrender), but maybe will if I can ...

Attached are 3 screenshots which I hope illustrates my problem. Using Mac 10.13.6 and Blender 2.82. Am trying to switch from LuxRender and the previous version of Blender....without much success. Really don't understand the appearance of LuxCore, no application icon and using terminal to fire up (?)...
