Yes, my desk is actually less than 2 meters away from the one of pixel_peeper. But now I'm away and he is on his own... ;) The script cited by FarbigeWelt is ok and has already been tested but it is not user friendly (...specially if you can't write python). My question now is: samples are allocated...

Me too I had a "painted look":
this is quite fine but in some cases sharp edges would be better (ex in the corner between walls and ceiling).

It would be interesting to have the light groups denoised too: I'm normally rendering interiors doing a huge exr with everything inside, 3 or 4 light groups (sun, night light, extra light on sofa/desk, something more... leds ecc...) and then manually compositing and tweak it adding lights. Is it in ...

Just another question: the Intel OpenImageDenoise is optimized for Intel processors.
Will it work also on other processors (ex. Amd) or it is like Cuda for Gpu?
