Re: HDRi and Light Tracing
One thing I found while exporting from Blender is that the exported camera FOV does not take into account the sensor fit method, which initially resulted in a much smaller FOV than anticipated This seems to be normal behaviour of LuxcoreUI specifically. Acutally had this question on ym mind for a w...

Re: HDRi and Light Tracing
I also tried rendering with Luxcore standalone, same image. Luxcore.PNG Don't they look quite different (original problem screenshot Vs. stand alone) ? https://forums.luxcorerender.org/download/file.php?id=7438&mode=view https://forums.luxcorerender.org/download/file.php?id=7462&mode=view T...

Re: Better Clamping in Luxcore
Haven't read it, but just watched the video and saw fireflies gone as a side effect... so, how do you find it beneficial otherwise? Image map caching (i.e. rendering with several terabytes of texture maps on disk and using the ram as a cache for mip maps and tiles). Ray differential is a requiremen...

Does the Ryzen 5 2400g have an integrated GPU ?jgrover110 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 11:52 am Updated to 20.4.1, still not correct. CPU load reaches 100% in task manager. This must be hardware specific if other people cannot reproduce it.

Re: New OpenCL textures and materials evaluation code
Anyway, the problem at hand (min/max epsilon not being passed to KernelCacheFill()) is independent of that decision. It is not only epsilon min/max, it is also about the list of devices to use: HasCachedKernels() is a method of RenderConfig for that reason. KernelCacheFill() compiles for all OpenCL...

About Clarisse IFX Clamping: Since Clarisse 4.0 SP5, the path tracer offers a novel method to reduce considerably fireflies in renders. For more information please refer to the Fireflies Filtering section . It's been developed in-house and no papers or other technicalities have been revealed yet. M...

Re: New OpenCL textures and materials evaluation code
No, before the render starts, after checking if HasCachedKernels() returned false. But I want to compile both kernels on that occasion, so the user only has to wait once after installation. (I want pathocl and RTpathocl, tilepath is so rarely used that i don't include it here) KernelCacheFill() was...

Try to check also your CPU load during the rendering
