Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
Here's for an understanding of how product renderings are created, how many light sources are used to "finish off" the HDR: https://youtu.be/s_guXWSQi3U Each light illuminates a certain area with a certain strength and softness, or is used to play light on a sharp edge. Each needs to be pr...

Re: Performance issues
This is ridiculous. That's how our grandmothers used to set up the lights. Today it is too slow a process. To understand this, you have to try and set the light for the product yourself. It's a fine-tuning of the many luminaires interacting with each other to create a light and shade pattern of an o...

Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
I'm very interested, I really want to see the product and equipment visualization work at Luxcore. I really want to be inspired by other people's work in this field. I'm really experiencing isolation on this subject. This is just disillusion. Your claim is obviously wrong.
Where can I see it?

Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
Most users render 1 picture a day. Or per week. To indulge.
Someone can make an interior. One in a week. With 2-3 visualizations.
I'm talking about large volumes. Serious work.
Apparently, I'm not knocking on the door, but on the wall.
That's too bad.

Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
There is the little detail they don't support GPU rendering ... at all: we win because they can not even show up for the match. Let me be honest - I do not have the ability to use the GPU in two cases: 1. In setting up materials, lights, textures and rendering. The viewport on the CPU is slow. It t...

Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
I tried to test Appleseed and I didn't like it, I didn't see a big difference in viewport speed either Here is a comparison scene showing how close Luxcore and Appleseed are to each other: AppleSeed (500 semples, 6 min, CPU) https://imgur.com/sROadaV Luxcore (500 semples, 17 min, CPU) https://imgur...

Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
That's an interesting name for LuxeedRay! 1) It seems to me that merging with others would deprive Luxcore of its exceptional "picture". Those magical, magical 10-20% "crispness" and "tinkle", clarity and clarity of renderings that distinguish Luxcore from others. On th...
