Re: BlendLuxCore Development
The first setup for BlendLuxCore automated releases seems to be working. (now, statistically something will go wrong in a minute or so... ) Apart from alfa/beta/final releases, which should work similar to those for LuxCore, a new daily release is triggered: each time new commits are pushed e...

Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds
It was Dade's post:

Try to replace binaries in the Windows .zip with those from luxcorerender-latest-blender2.80 for Linux, then install it.

Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds
In this moment I cannot check that it actually works in Blender, but maybe this could be just a misunderstanding... All luxcorerender-latest-* are packaged as standalone versions. The difference between the blender2.80 and the regular packages is only in pyluxcore: the one in the blender2.80 package...

Re: Path Space Regularization (aka the solution to SDS paths)
Only builds originated from the master branch are published as "latest", but probably you can get it anyway from here: https://dev.azure.com/LuxCoreRender/LuxCoreRender/_build/results?buildId=687 You should see an "Artifacts" button in the upper right corner allowing to download ...

Re: BlendLuxCore Development
I am working on having automated / daily releases for BlendLuxCore.
Is it so that the master branch can be used for Blender 2.80, and the 2_79_maintenance for the 2.79?
I'll also need access to the BlendLuxCore repo to set up the pipeline files.

Re: Warning: SetThreadGroupAffinity failed
But the TBB actually has more files than this 2 dll, it has around 120 files. The full TBB is larger, but we use directly the Intel binaries for OIDN, and the distribution contains only the required TBB dlls + libs, total 4 files. We need more stuff for Embree, however, and: Not sure if it h...

Re: Warning: SetThreadGroupAffinity failed
It is likely to be a mismatch between Oidn DLL and TBB DLL. Aha, most likely it is. Cuz I rember, before OIDN was updated to the latest 0.9.0 I already used it, but had only overwriten exe & dlls. And since there were no issue rendering wise, i didn't pay much attention to it. Anyways, thanks f...

Re: Windows build deps
I've never used vcpkg, don't really know how to help with that.
Should it help keeping all deps updated to latest versions?

Re: Hybrid Back/Forward path tracing (aka BiDir without MIS)
As much I see you got my point. I don’t mean to simulate real optics system. In a math sim this is not required because you do not require to correct chromatic aberrations, because dispersion can be avoided per definition. In math sim there is no limitation but fp precision for the shape of the len...
