Hi
When using B.Y.O.B's Shader Ball and I turn the Tonemapper/Autobrightness OFF in the camera settings, then I have to turn the Default Light Group gain down to .001 to get the what appears to me to be the same result as if the Tonemapper/Autobrightness was ON. Is that correct.
Thanks

BYOB

Thank you for your help

Pointiness/Band
Hi Am I connecting these up correctly (attached) in order to use the Pointiness to mix colours or materials. It works fine in A but not in B. I understand that I'm connecting a colour output to a value input, and that this can be done in Cycles but not in Lux. But I can't work out another way to ach...

Re: Negative values in velvet shader
Great. Thank you.
Even without the negative values it's an awesome capability. I've been playing around with it for much of this morning! later on I'll try attaching textures to the inputs.

Negative values in velvet shader
Hi
I have just posted about the Velvet shader in Discussions but have noticed that I don't appear to be able to enter negative values into the node, even though negative values are showing in the Material Help for this.
Thanks

Velvet shader
Does anyone use the velvet shader much? I'm looking to do upholstered furniture in nice environments. There is some great examples given here of the shader: http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/LuxRender ... als_Velvet
