Call for simple example images for the new features in v2.5
Hi, I'm working on the "new in v2.5" page, and I need a lot of example images to showcase the new features. You can see the work-in-progress draft here, the password is "v2.5" : https://luxcorerender.org/new-features-in-v2-5/ All sections marked with "TODO" still need example images. It would be gre...

Re: Viewport render issue
I managed to reproduce the problem, it happens when i hit z choose material preview then choose rendered viewport and finally choose solid viewport, the cpu usage remains at 100%. Nice, I tested it 3 times and it has reproduced the issue each time. Thanks, that helps a lot. I fixed this problem, pl...

Re: Z-pass depth map
There are no settings for the depth AOV.
If you need another range, you will have to remap the values into it, for example in the Blender compositor (it has a remap node).

Re: Displacement + Vertexcolor crashes Blender
I can't reproduce this on Win 10 with the latest build. Maybe it was fixed since v2.5beta1?
You could try the latest build: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... tag/latest

Re: UVRandomMapping2D (and LocalRandomMapping3D)
LocalRandomMapping3D still to do. This is now also done. When the "Random Rotation" etc. checkboxes are disabled, the same values are used for min/max internally. The only weird thing is, it doesn't really behave like a "Local" mapping. E.g. when I rotate one of the cubes, the 3D texure is not rota...

Re: UVRandomMapping2D (and LocalRandomMapping3D)
What's the proper way to download this version of the addon? Will Luxcore V2.5 Beta1 be sufficient for this feature? EDIT: Nevermind. I think I figured it out. Going to Coce->Download ZIP should be OK, right? No, downloading the zip is not enough, because it doesn't contain the LuxCore binaries. Go...

Re: UVRandomMapping2D (and LocalRandomMapping3D)
I have added support for UVRandomMapping2D to the Blender addon.
You can find it in the "Type" dropdown in the 2D mapping node.
LocalRandomMapping3D still to do.
