Yes, I remember an article about the feature in Thea but I can't find it anymore. The only thing they offer is an example image, scroll to the bottom of this page: https://www.thearender.com/site/index.php/features/engines/unbiased.html However I don't know if their workaround/hack is truly unbiased...

I like the caustics of the red thing the most (although the white vase creates a nice shape, too). I'm not sure if more samples would fix that, or if I just need to clean it up in post-processing. You'll probably need postprocessing. Or you could try a border render of the noisy part to see if that ...

The irregular data texture is already usable in BlendLuxCore.
(Material node tree, Add menu -> Light -> Irregular Data)
I did not see a "tabulated data" texture in the LuxCore SDL manual - is irregular data the same with a different name, or is it not available (yet)?

I agree with Dade.
If you pick the colors and look at the HSV values, you'll notice that both green and blue are at V = 100 in your image, so both have the same brightness.
