marble is ray traced with full Sub surface scattering this was done on vray for the render and houdini for the water and bubbles i have a single 3970x threadripper and used irradiance map and light cache and it took 30 days render with 1080p frame size then upscaled to 4k using ai upscale from topaz...

there is no limit right i know blender has built in limit of 1024 but you can just open another instance to get another 1024 is luxcore render the same?

Kintux aren't you the person who claimed there was still bugged volumetric lighting after Dade fixed it oh wait you are the person anyways since I already ran tests at 5000 samples and Kintux has not, you will find that volumetrics takes 6 plus hours to calculate on a 1080p frame with good cpu and s...

Dade volumetric lighting takes way to long to render noise free even with many samples and it also takes way to long to compute too in general for 2.3 please fix this other render engines do not have this problem make sure you fix for metropolis and bi directional thank you :P

Noisy volumetric lighting

why does volumetric lighting look still noisy after 5000 samples with BiDir and Metropolis is there a way to clean this up it happens when i set my camera volume correctly of course cause if it is not set it renders with no noise but i lose my volumetric lighting coming in through window
