flat shading when using homogeneous volume
I made the material completely transparent and noticed that Volume shows flat shading. Is this the right behavior? it looks weird.

I can confirm that ElementaryOS has been running smoothly around the clock. I've been using it in Blender 3 since January 4.

Thank you. You are completely right.My advice is to use what looks right. The shaders are not restricted to simulate only the real-world materials they were named after.

Let this feature stay in the material settings. Masking requires the use of many objects, it would be more convenient to do it through the material assignment.

If I increase the Scattering Scale parameter, I get a darkening. I put a mask on the collection and the front cube should disappear from the rendering and cut off part of the back cube. But this does not happen.
