Re: Pool test scene
At such high sample counts it's almost useless to continue rendering because this is exceeding the limits of floating point precision. Nice scene, I wonder why the caustics are so different. I was starting to think it wasn't going to get any better at about 3M. Try using the path engine with metrop...

Re: Water absorption scattering values.
The scene is just a plane with ocean modifier applied to it, camera pointing straight up to the sky. I haven't been able to get any scene to render the same as old lux yet. Clamping might be affecting this scene, also I think there is a difference in the sky model used between the two.

Re: Water absorption scattering values.
I found my old files hidden away on a hard drive.
Updated the scene for Luxcore. I did have to invert the absorption values though.

Unfortunately the internet archive of the forum site does not have those pages saved (unless i just didnt find a good snaphot) I was wondering if anyone had some a...

Re: alpha06 bugs
Im guessing this problem is limited to me: When trying to load cornell.cfg in luxcoreui I get the error:
Unable to open properties file: scenes/cornell/cornell.scn

So im getting my head round everything in luxcore still, also dragging myself into the present and starting to use nodes too. First problem I have is the differnt in colour between luxcore and classic. Both of these are rendered with bidir. classic bidir.png luxcore bidir.jpg Is there a differnce in...
