Re: Interruption while rendering an animation
Hm, maybe it is related to this issue? https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/LuxCore/issues/70#issuecomment-374547898 Which renderengine and halt conditions are you using? Are you using tiled path? You could try to reproduce the issue with a very simple scene (cube on a plane) and see if it also happens ...

Re: Meshlight intensity problem
That has nothing to do with your problem.
Look into the camera settings, disable the automatic tonemapping.
If you need it I can post a screenshot.
The wiki section on this topic is not yet written unfortunately.

Re: Meshlight intensity problem
Maybe you are using an automatic tonemapper?
See "when I change the brightness of my lamp, nothing happens"
The tonemapper settings are in the camera tab, imagepipeline panel.

Ok, then I leave that to you.
It's not time-critical.
The exact spot in the code is here: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... ts.py#L176

Re: What is new in LuxCore API v2.0?
It is already available (TILEPATH engine).Odilkhan Yakubov wrote: ↑Tue Mar 27, 2018 2:20 pm Is there planned bucket rendering not Progressive refine (like now, like Cycles)?
In BlendLuxCore, it is available in the render settings: Just enable the "Tiled" checkbox.

Re: What is new in LuxCore API v2.0?
Some engines use different integrators for primary/secondary bounces. E.g. V-Ray: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAY3MAX/Global+Illumination+Rollout#GlobalIlluminationRollout-DefaultParameters edit: their nomenclature is a bit weird, I think with "primary bounces" they mean the first...

Re: Caustics
Use one small, dominant light source in the scene (e.g. a small meshlight or a sun light).Odilkhan Yakubov wrote: ↑Tue Mar 27, 2018 2:26 am Hi there. How to create this kind of caustics in the renderer:
You can render caustics with an unidirectional pathtracer, but it is going to take much longer than bidir to get noise-free in most scenes.

Re: What is new in LuxCore API v2.0?
Can you post a test .vdb exported by Blender for testing ? Here is the same simulation baked with 3 different compression methods. I also added one version with half float format (blosc compression) - the others support this, too. Download button in the upper right corner. https://drive.google.com/...
