Re: Beach Resort - LuxCoreRender 2.4

Thanks. I'm not very experienced with LuxCore and i strated using Sobol. But it wasn't faster in that scene and i read somewhere, that Metropolis is good in handling Caustics. To be honest, i spent quite a lot of time in tweaking and changing render settings- it's really fun, but sometimes as well o...

Beach Resort - LuxCoreRender 2.4

Hey everyone! I wanted to share this scene rendered with daily builds of v2.4, because i haven't used LuxCoreRender for quite some time now. I am really impressed how much usability has improved since v2.2 The One Time OpenCl computation is a game changer! Setting up lighting and materials for a sce...

Re: BlendLuxCore Development

Thank you so much for LuxCore for Blender 2.8x! I tested it today with this scene (Metropolis+OpenCl+PhotonGI+Environment Cache). Viewport renders smooth. I did the final render with a halt after 15 minutes on a 2080ti and i think the result after that short time is pretty good, for denoising does n...

Re: BlendLuxCore Development

Tomorrow I will merge the 2.80 branch into master and there will be a release of v2.2beta3 with packages for Blender 2.79 and 2.80. The 2.80 release will be experimental and not production ready. I'll create a list with the known issues for you. That's great news! The 2.8 port looks so promising! T...

Wow!
That's a fast reply!
I already have installed the newest builds. It does not work in my case.
It hangs with the same message.

Error: OpenCl viewport render doesn't work

Hey there, i can't figure out why my OpenCL viewport doesn't work, while final render works fine. I tried it with 2.2beta2 and latest builds. The console gives me this error output: [PathOCLBaseRenderThread::0] Compiling kernels [PathOCLBaseRenderThread::0] PathOCL kernel compilation error ERROR clB...
