Light intensities and matching Cycles
Hey everyone, I have been studying light units, intensities and such in order to provide a tutorial for artists. I also want to convert my LightPack to LuxCore and I'm trying to correctly match lighting intensities. I am a bit confused by the default 17 lm/W luminous efficacy in BlendLuxCore. I was ...

Re: LuxCore v2.3 proposed features
Would love to get Bokeh texture / Optical vignetting support. Some longitudinal chromatic aberration? :) http://richardrosenman.com/shop/dof-pro/ https://www.google.co.jp/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=20&ved=2ahUKEwjQ-6HRg_rkAhVIA4gKHZe1AwAQFjATegQIAhAC&url=https...

Re: Using photographer addon
To make it easier to switch between Cycles and LuxRender, it needs to be ON with default settings.
It's a bit counter intuitive but if I turn it off, the user would have to make sure to reapply the camera settings if he switches between the two engines.

Re: Light Intensities and Units
@chafouin you wrote that you're not using luxcore tonemapper, right? if yes, I have this question: if I've set my camera with Luxcore ISO,shutter and f-stop and I enable your addon with your manual controls, should I disable the Luxcore controls? Photographer will set your Tonemapper to Camera mode...

Re: Light Intensities and Units
Haha, thank you for pointing it out, I updated the description. I also fixed some issues with LuxCore Depth of Field F-Stop in the new 2.2.1 version. And please post it in the news sections if you want, if it can help users :) Awesome, Photographer looks pretty handy. I like using real values for th...

Re: Light Intensities and Units
My tests aren't scientific, I'm eyeballing a lot, but here is my process: - Capture an HDRI with the full range (including the sun, as much as possible) - Place that HDRI in LuxCore/Cycles. - Set LuxCore/Cycles Camera Exposure to match one of my bracketed photograph that I use as a reference - Adjus...
