Maybe nVidia sends out freed product samples.
In my dreams, if nothing else
I wonder if this are also more stable / less artifacting, than consumer cards?

Re: The flickerfree animation challenge
With BlendLuxCore from may 13, there is still little flickering, but maybe longer render would cure it. If you make floor perfect mirror, there is strong sun spot on the wall, but with roughness textured and bumped, it's very random. Same with the shadow of decorative branch in vase, which reflects ...

Re: Caustics strange behavior with big objects
I think the border render from small cut out around the subject is one way.
The option for don't store photons on that material, will still spend time on entire scene.

Re: The flickerfree animation challenge
So I decreased the lookup radius of the caustic cache and made it 10 times smaller and the result I get with a value of 0.0005 m is good. It takes forever, almost 10times. And this is just a 1/3 of the resultion. So at the end 1 frame will take 10min*3*3=180min. Uhh. Looks like the Oidn denoises be...

The sun is at scale 4. With scale 1 and clamping off, caustics are stronger.mischterlampe wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2020 10:54 am Nonetheless, the caustics of the glass bottle are very weak

Re: Atmosphere Simulation
Clouds didn't come out that life true, but still something. Clouds.jpg CPU rendered 6 hours at step size 500m, singlescattering. Another 11 hours at step size 100m, multiscattering. The first one is much faster, but resolution didn't seem to improve with 100m step size. BiDirVM and filmic tonemappin...

Re: The flickerfree animation challenge
What if all the meshes are shaded as flat, will the pure 100% light tracing with envc flicker?
-------
EDIT
The blend file looks broken.
When i append objects to new blend file, the light tracing looks better.

Elisa Music Player
Hi I wanted to share interesting found. An free opensource music player for Linux KDE. I'm actually more happy with this, than with foobar2000 in Windows. Elisa Music Player.jpg It does not play high-res audio out of the box in high-res (it's downmixed to 44,1 or 48kHz and 16bit). First you need to:...

The BCD never worked that well, Oidn is way better.
Here is BCD sample at 1000 spp (16 hours):
