Re: Brazilian Liquor

Much better than the initial version - especially the poured glass. One little thing. The label looks a bit dark now (especially the lower part). Maybe adding a little frontal/side light back in can fix that. Not as much as in the original version though.

Re: [CRASHING] Simples scene crashing on RTX2070

Have you tried starting Blender in debug mode with "blender -d"? Maybe the console window gives some insight into the issue. I don't even know what that means. hehe If you know how to start programs from the command line in windows, you can go to the directory where the "blender.exe&...

Re: Jewelry metal and dispersion Render Engine Comparisons | Luxcore vs Cycles vs Octane vs Prorender

I tried to find the addon, both without being logged in to the OTOY site as well as while being logged in. But they do a great job at hiding what people want to find. They put commercial links next to free links and on top of that there are a ton of different versions. It seems as if they don't want...

Thanks for the info about the Octane plugin. When I checked last you needed to download a special Blender package. But if they changed it to an addon version, that would be great.

Re: Jewelry metal and dispersion Render Engine Comparisons | Luxcore vs Cycles vs Octane vs Prorender

I understand that there's a difference between Luxcore and Cycles as Luxcore is a more complex render engine and more calculation is going into it. It's a bit much though, especially when looking at Octane which also is a more complex render engine. But as usual in Luxcore it's probably about tweaki...

Re: Jewelry metal and dispersion Render Engine Comparisons | Luxcore vs Cycles vs Octane vs Prorender

Very nice. Not sure if the light rotations are completely in sync. Overall I like the Cycles version quite a bit - it's not as busy as Luxcore and Octane. Octane wins over Luxcore for me, because I like the rendering of the stones a bit better and of course the render time is much lower as well. I w...

That's bad news. I hope the OpenColorIO community appreciates that.

Re: Printing colour transparency coming out grey

That's one of those questions that leads to even more questions. And I guess that's not a Luxcore centered question, but an overall color management question. For one, there's nothing like a "standard color printer(s)". And are you talking about a physical office printer or a printing comp...
