Cycles, AMD Pro Render and Luxcore ... with Caustics.
This video is a tutorial on how to deal with rendering caustics in Cycles, Radeon ProRender and LuxCore Renderer. I go over how to utilize the basic glass shading, advanced shading and lighting as well as how to set the render settings to get better caustics. This isn't a crash course in LuxCore ren...

My new Quickbuttons-AddOn now on Blendermarket
Let me say that while it is generally a commercial Produkt, ANY developer or long-time Contributor to Luxrender can mail me and ask for a free Version . I will need your E-Mail then. Working for quite while with Blender, now I realized that I do often "the same things". Because Blender is ...

Re: Article about free renderers, featuring LuxCoreRender
POV-Ray from Blender does not make so much sense, as its strength is it own Scripting-Language. If you have things in POV Ray for Blender they are often converted to Meshes, but the strengt of POV-Ray is that you can use the Primitives, as it just renders faster. The POV-Script is good to be automat...

Re: Article about free renderers, featuring LuxCoreRender
In my Impression Luxrender ist still "advanced users". Its not working like "Click and Render", especially difficult Scenes in 8k Resolution often fail here. Besides that - IF it works the results are amazing and most realistic. Have to add about Radeon Pro Render: Under (unknow)...

Glas-Eagle in 4k
I could render this nice eagle in 4k, but in 8k (8350x8350) was not successful until now. Maybe because of the "Out of Core" Switch that was set? Maybe i will try to use "Tiled Rendering" for that next time. The special-Luxrender Dispersion and Thin-Film (unique Feature) makes it...

AL lib: (EE) ALCmmdevPlayback_mixerproc: Failed to get padding: 0x88890004

What do you do with your pictures?
I guess there are quite some professional artists here like Sharlybg who are hired by people, architects etc. to render Interiors or advertizement pictures and videos for them. Besides that there may be some beginners - like me - who often just render for "fun" . Does it mean that your pic...

Re: Article about free renderers, featuring LuxCoreRender
The picture with Sharly's Glas-Swans is just amazing! About the article, i must say that i have also tested all of these Renderers and had a bit of a different Impression. The Radeon Pro Render has also a lot of Pro-Features, but its strenght is that its very user-friendly and responsive for beginne...
