Re: Env. Light Visibility Cache

IMHO...
Simply put, GI & Environment Caches are not intended nor designed for direct lit aka "open" or "outdoor" scenes.
Performance hit can also be experienced in Corona & VRay.

Re: Error: OpenCl viewport render doesn't work

RT OCL is broken here too.
But in my case Blender simply stops responding. Need to force close.

Re: Sphere lights

Hi! 1. A quote about Point Lamp Radius property from BlendLuxCore LightPanel Point documentation . Radius: Defines the size of the point lamp. If greater than zero, the point lamp is a sphere, but only in shadow and reflection calculations. It can not be viewed directly, so it will always be invisib...

Re: Disable self shadow?

I am aware of that node. Doesn't do what I was talking about. You see now, that sphere is missing shadow from the wall Right... Would help, if you took a moment and be up to the point - had shown what you already know, provide clear example and possibly an engine which does, how it's done what you'...

Re: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

With the right price tag, energy consumption... to simply replace the CPU (2x X5650), board (lenovo TS D20) & RAM (16GB 1333MHz), i believe it will do great. Am already fine with the computing speed i have now & will likely get ROI from electricity bill alone in a year time or even sooner.
