You are using the "CONTOUR_LINES" image pipeline plugin. It requires IRRADIANCE AOV to work but BiDir doesn't support that type of AOV so it is just zero (if you save the image you will see that the IRRADIANCE.exr is all black). "CONTOUR_LINES" displays a grid over regions with z...
