Will i7 920 bottleneck a gtx2070

Hi
I'm looking to do a partial upgrade by changing my gtx660 to a gtx2070 running on an i7 920. Will I get full benefit from the upgrade without bottlenecking?
Thanks

Re: PhotonGI cache

Less than 2mins (I'm gobsmacked!) GTX660, PGI and OID

Maybe this isn't the best type of scene to show off PGI - I don't know. But it feels really fast to me!

Also, I think the OID has done really well with the repeating patterns in the fabric - 10 seconds!!

:D :D

Re: PhotonGI cache

I assume we are in a pretty good spot if people complain for rendering this in 10mins ... on a i7 2600
Mind blowing stuff :!: :D

lacilaci

render-boards.jpg. How do you get lighting to look as good and natural as that? Any chance of a scene? or just the layout of the lighting? ;)

Re: White/Greyish World

If you have no camera, the following image pipeline is used as fallback

Re: White/Greyish World

Thank you for your responses.

I almost always turn off the camera tonemapping, but this is happening without a camera?
