Artifacts running GPU
Hey everyone I was just fiddling around showing stuff to someone and I noticed I'm getting really bad artifacts on that cylinder when running GPU mode. As you can see this does not show up when rendering with CPU only. This is kind of annoying, is this a known terminator related issue ? Thanks in ad...

Re: microroughness control
Isn't it called "sheen" in Disney's principled shader? Otherwise I don't get what you're after

Re: Block Risers
Nice work here but you already seem to know that that bloom effect is kind of ruining and burning your render, as well as the color saturation that is really on the high side to me (particularly obvious on the second picture in the background). Would like to see an updated version without all the ov...

Have to repair Intel's redist everyday to make LuxCore work
Hello everyone Does someone here have the same issue than I do ? Each and every day, when I get to turn my computer back on to get to work, I have to repair Intel's C++ redist installation to make LuxCore appear in the list of available renderers in Blender. Note that addon appears correctly in the ...

Re: Strange black zones
Thanks for the input guys, I will post an update asap, maybe this has to do with the geometry I imported which is an obj file, anyhow playing with the smoothing settings did not improve the result in any kind of way.

Strange black zones
Hey everyone
I'm posting here because I'm having a hard time understanding why I do get black spots on this draft render as shown on the attached screenshot.
Any clue someone ?
I'm running Pathtracer + Sobol, total number of bounces 18, diff 6 gloss 6 spec 6
Thanks in advance
Cheers
