Re: Performance issues

Hi, I haven't read all the recent posts in this thread, but I want to say that I am aware of the viewport performance problems in complex scenes, and I think we should make it a priority to solve them. We developers should talk about the technical side of things in a separate thread (maybe in privat...

Re: PhotonGI cache

Then single/multiscattering is irrelevant in this case, since it is only a concept for rough materials.

Wow, awesome stuff! Can I put some of these in our gallery at https://luxcorerender.org/gallery/? If yes, which names should I credit, and should I link to your websites?

Re: PhotonGI cache

I am against such a multiplier. Raising it above 1 sounds like it could easily break energy conservation without the user realizing it. Also, if there is a multiplier for indirect light, it should behave consistently between all render engines, and not just affect the PhotonGI cache - and this would...

Re: How to get clear glass?

Try to set the shadow color of the outer shell to white (this setting is in the advanced options in the output node).

Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds

In this moment daily builds should again be compatible with Blender 2.92. We will switch again as soon as the problem with 2.93 is solved. Thanks for your work acasta. I have now finished adapting the addon to 2.93. Side note, the addon now loads in 0.3 seconds instead of 0.65, but I'm not sure how...

Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds

You'll have to be patient, currently the daily builds work neither in 2.92 (because of the newer Python version) nor in 2.93 (because of some changes in the Blender Python API). We'll fix this soon.
