Ok, so Blackbody Temp., Irregular Data & Lamp Spectrum can only be used on area lamps.
I created a github issue.
Note that it is already possible to use these textures if you use a plane with light emitting material in BlendLuxCore.

The images I posted are taken after about 30min on a HD 7970, so around 2000 samples.

Re: Advance Lamp properties
If the lamp "color" property really supports textures, then I think the LuxCore manual is wrong: https://wiki.luxcorerender.org/LuxCore_ ... ype:_point
Because it says "spectrum", not "texture". Or is "spectrum" inherently texturable?

In the world and/or hemi light settings, open the "performance" panel.
There's a checkbox named "Build Visibility Map".

Re: Blender Freeze OpenGL Render
Go to the place where BlendLuxCore is installed (on Windows this is %appdata%/local/roaming/Blender Foundation/Blender/2.79/scripts/addons/ I think).
Put the pyluxcore.pyd file in the bin folder (overwriting the old pyluxcore.pyd).
If you don't know how to find the Blender addon directory, you can ...

Re: Advance Lamp properties
It is already implemented. Make a spot lamp and choose an image.kintuX wrote: Fri Feb 16, 2018 9:43 pm 3. Is Projector (with Spot Lamp) also going to be implemented?

Re: Convergence based adaptive sampling
I noticed that the convergence test seems to focus noise free areas too much when they are very bright.
For example in this scene, the reflections on the bottom are clearly more noisy than the bright areas in the glass, yet the latter ones is sampled far more than the noisy reflections.
