P.S. I don't have the time but if someone want, it should be easy.
I would volunteer, it could be another good exercise task for me ;)
But I'm also too busy for one more week, could start it end of next week if it can wait. Otherwise, other volunteers ahead :D

Re: Shader ball Example scene

The inside is partially filled. Commonly done with 3D-prints :)
If I do make a bigger lamp at some point, I will probably redesign it with a cavitiy at the center, open form the bottom, and print it as a hollow shell. Lets see...

Re: Shader ball Example scene

I have an Ender 3 Pro. I printed it over night with 80 micrometer layer height. Explains the surface quality but also took 14 hours for the size of a baseball

I've run out of white unfortunately, bit bigger and it would make for a good desk lamp :D

Re: Shader ball Example scene

Thanks a lot for the scene! :)

It also looks very nice in glossy white with some SSS. I hope you can forgive the banding artefacts, like at the top, this was path traced only with an 8 bit CPU :D

Re: Blurred shadow reflection

I just tried with the three settings increased as shown attached. Not sure if all of them are needed, or to be increased that much...
Didn't take noticably longer to pre-compute the cache, but the probelm's gone and the rendering also clears with MUCH fewer samples.

I know the cycles voronoi cells texture work great.
Then what are you trying to improve?

Re: BlendLuxCore Development

Don't know exactly what you want, maybe you can do something like this. Note the offsets in the lower 2 mapping nodes. Color to illustrate how it works. It seems to not quit work as for some reason the dots in a regular texture are not all perfectly aligned. you can see that some of the white dots h...

Re: Denoiser Problem

Hi taner candan, Also when i finish final render ( when using BCD ) the denoiser layer looks really wierd. You should show a picture of the artefacts you observed, and an undenoised render to compare. Ideally you always upload a blend-file with your problems so that the developers can reproduce the ...
