Re: Big window shadow

It works with direct light (from sun light or HDR), but I´d like a diffuse light (ambient), without sun light entering directly in the room.

Re: Big window shadow

Normals are ok. Can I send you via We Transfer? Project 668Mb with textures.

Big window shadow

Guys, I have a room with a big window, and the shadows don´t look like realistic. Near the chair legs, the shadows should be more sharp, but shadows are too much soft. The light comes from a HDR. There is some setup specific for this?

Transparent Film and glass material

Hi, I noted that using Transparent Film, Glass material with Architectural option checked is rendered with alpha channel. I imagine that using real glass material, it´s hard to get an alpha channel because it´s necessary to distort the image behind it. But, anyway, is it possible? Maybe, using passes?

Re: Caches

Thank you, guys, again!

Sharly, so, it´s possible to update the cache. This is great! This means I can use cache animating, for example, a light color? Or its intensity? Or even, changing an object´s position?

Re: Caches

Thank you guys!

So, when I hit render, I can just wait for cache calculation, then stop render. Can I calculate caches in a small resolution, and make final render in a bigger resolution?
