Re: Lighting Strategy for lamps with cover
Hi, play around a bit and get good results with a case itself is a emitter. Use a rough glass with area produce a lot of noise as Dade mention. I am not good at Luxcore materials but it shows what happen. The denoiser remove the noise very good so it is a compromise of render time and realistic look...

Re: Windows Build FAILED
Hi, I test only small scenes but does anybody have the same performance boost like me?
It is about 1.8 times faster than OCL on my stone age GTX 760.
Thank you for implementing it @developers.
Cheers, mib

"New Posts" are not marked
Hi, I mostly use "New Posts" visiting the forum but often it seams not updated.
Even Ctrl+F5 does not update and posts I already read are marked as new.
Is this may be a cookie setting on my side or something?
Thank you, mib

Hi, I really like your work, modeling and render are great.
Can this be a piece of jewelry in reality?
It looks too delicate to wear on the body or on a chain.

Re: Dominating Luxcore
Hi, the bottleneck is AMD, support from Luxrender is good but other engines like Octane does not support AMD cards at all. Cycles Nvidia support is much better than support for AMD.
You need at least the smallest Nvidia RTX card.
