How to disable optix rendering for gtx 1070ti?
Hi. Is it possible to use only Cuda without optix for Gtx Series? Since Luxcore 2.5 I am experiencing much lower performance from my gtx 1070ti on desktop and gtx 1660ti on my laptop?. Can someone give example how to modify Luxcore config files.? Thanks

Cool. I asked Cycles users for their opinion on this, and they told me that you have to use Scrambling Distance for such scenes. This will speed up the Cycles so much that it becomes much faster than Luxcore. I think Scrambling Distance is not available in vanilla Blender... for that you need Bone ...

I have also downloaded and tested OctaneBench with RTX option enabled and it works perefctly fine on gtx1660ti.

I dont see anwhere in blender addon option to disable Optix?? I think it may be an option not exposed in Blender (because it is not usually useful). I can explain to you how to run LuxCore stand alone version and how to enable/disable options but it somewhat complex if you are not familiar with com...

It may be related to Optix (i.e. RTX where available support). You should try to enable CUDA but disable Optix. Optix has shown to be very slow in some cases in some not-RTX GPU. I dont see anwhere in blender addon option to disable Optix?? My gtx 1070ti on desktop machine works perfectly fine... C...
