Thankyou for the feedback..... The scene is quite open with a sky at default settings only. I have a sun with a very wide angle set at 180 for very soft shadows and so it contributes to the majority of the lighting in the scene. Photon G.I. cache enabled with photon count at 15 and photon depth at 1...

So far I'm quite impressed with what you can get out of LuxCore in regards to realism straight out of the box with little tweaking.

Thankyou for the tip, I will try it on the next scene.

I have just rendered this with your settings, it took only 1 hour and I think the quality looks very similar. Notice the difference in the corner behind the lamp where the walls meet, weirdly there is no longer a gap as in the original image.

Yea a little more time would have been nice.

Just Environment light cashe enabled...two smallish windows in the scene and an area light to try combat noise.
