Seem to me that UE is encroaching ever more on traditional archviz production options. I'm not from the field and cannot comment competently on the drawbacks of using UE or other Game Engines compared to a Blender/V-Ray or Blender/LuxCore workflow for archviz animations. But this is quite impressive...

Hi motaman, You can definitely have a look at our Maya plugin. It is regularly updated and works with all recent Maya versions, including 2019. Most of it is in C++, though there are also Python scripts for the UI menu, render settings etc. Not sure how much you will be able to adapt, it is tightly ...

yes it seems there is some voodoo going on in vray's case. my guess is that both vray and corona have a lot of workarounds going on with their caches. That is probably also the reason that they are the only engines(redshift too) that do caching... There is no universal solution to this problem. Nop...

Most of the images in the IKEA catalogues are rendered. Much more cost effective than building up the furniture and getting it photographed.
