Re: Liquid Volumes
Index of Refraction? Thats pretty good because it is definitely visible in the real world situation. I am just blown away by the quality of some of the Lux renders I've seen here. I'm just a blender beginner. One cool thing, though, I finally got my GPU rendering working properly. On my unsupported ...

Re: Luxcore New Tutorial
I am guessing its a hallway of a hotel or old age home somewhere in Central or Eastern Europe? The cactus is a Euphorbia, really well done. The painting is of course by Gustav Klimt. The building is old, pre-electricity? Was it taken from a photograph?

Is it possible to simulate refraction through dissimilar liquids of different weights and refractive indexes, such as lightly colored oil and water?

Re: Lux Crystals
Very nice.
The first one looks like tourmaline, shape wise.
An interesting crystal is bismuth. Or 'bismuto'. Example of what it sometimes looks like.
This is likely a real challenge to model.

Re: Mesa 1.8.1.6 with LuxCoreRender 2.1a3 on Debian 9.5 with 4.17 kernel
Do you have any pointers on using Debian, not Ubuntu with their drivers without breaking the non-openCL driver? I am on an older machine that has the older kind of PCIe slots so it appears my box is not supported with the ROC drivers yet. (although it may be in the future) It seems that I may be in ...

Mesa 1.8.1.6 with LuxCoreRender 2.1a3 on Debian 9.5 with 4.17 kernel
I am on an older (AMD FX6300) machine with a somewhat newer video card (RX580) - recently upgraded. There seems to be a bug which is causing Mesa's OpenCL to hang or crash with either Blender Cycles or LuxCore under most conditions right now. (I'm using the stock Blender Foundation 2.79b download bu...
